The city of Belgrade got its first rakia – Opening of the barrel of the Belgrade Tourist Organization in the Belgrade Urban Distillery.

The Tourist Organization of Belgrade, in cooperation with the Belgrade Distillery, created Belgrade rakia made of quince that was aged in a barrel for three years. The barrel was opened on the 1st of June 2022 at the Belgrade Distillery on Dorcol in the presence of the media and friends of TOB and the distillery. After opening the barrel, the guests had the opportunity to taste the rakia.

After aging, quince rakia gains in quality, and therefore in value, which changes the taste of rakia and acquires a complex, noble note.

Belgrade rakia will become an official souvenir of the city of Belgrade and will be available for purchase at the Belgrade Distillery and at the points of the Belgrade Tourist Organization.
